Our Story
Founded in 1983, jen kahn has dressed women and men for more than four decades, bringing a distinctive South African perspective to contemporary design.
Jen’s passion for clothing began in childhood. In 1985, two years after launching her label, Jen exhibited at the Paris Prêt-à-Porter fashion exhibition. Architectural lines, expressive silhouettes and an instinct for fabric became signatures of her work and remain central to the collections today.

Our Philosophy
We believe in creating designs that enhance natural beauty and presence, expressing personality as much as form. Jen kahn has dressed women and men from every walk of life and every corner of the globe, considering how clothing makes them feel as much as how they look.
Central to our philosophy is the belief that elegance and style belong to every individual. Each collection celebrates shape, size and age through designs that move with grace and convey quiet confidence. From jewel tones to obsidian, from sweeping silhouettes to considered separates, the clothing combines bold simplicity with enduring sophistication.
Complementing the collections is a distinctive selection of handmade statement jewellery, personally sourced and selected by Jen to enhance both colour and concept.
Fabric & Making
Made in Cape Town, our clothing begins with the relationship between fabric and form.
Pure linen sourced from Ireland and France is chosen for its soft, luxurious handle, natural texture and beautiful drape. Supple viscose jersey offers fluidity and gentle stretch, bringing a different expression to the collection.
