Some pieces are defined by how they look standing still. Others reveal themselves through movement.
The Tokyo Linen Top and Samurai Pants are designed around ease, proportion and the natural response of linen to the body. Worn together, they create a strong yet unforced shape—relaxed enough for everyday wear, but distinctive enough to hold its own.
Balance in Proportion
The Tokyo Linen Top is shorter in front with an extended back that moves freely behind the wearer. Its loose box cut sits away from the body, allowing air and movement without losing definition.
The Samurai Pants provide balance through their generous volume and sculptural shape. Soft gathering and carefully placed pockets create fullness without heaviness, while the cropped length keeps the overall look grounded.
Worn Together or Apart
Together, the two pieces create a complete expression of Jen Kahn: bold proportion, pure linen and unrestricted movement.
Separately, each piece adapts easily. The Tokyo Top can be worn with simpler cropped trousers, while the Samurai Pants provide a strong foundation for understated linen shirts and tops.
White emphasises the purity of the shapes, while deeper colours give the same forms a more dramatic presence.
